She was born on April 17, 1981 in Amsterdam, Netherland. She is a fashion model and an artist. At the age of 16 she started modeling but she quit modeling in the couple of years because she wants to become a visual artist. After she finished her studies, she picked up the modeling again and she get a great success. At the age of 29 she returned the modeling and was featured on two Vogue covers in the same month she returned she photographed by Mert and Marcus for Carine Rotified’s final cover of the Vogue Paris in the year march 2011.

She featured alongside Mariacarla Boscono and Daphne Groeneveld in the year 2011 spring and summer, Givenchy campaign in the winter 2011, in the summer or spring 2012, Versace campaign in Max Mara and Chanel’s, she has also done the Fall/ Winter Loewe campaign, she has also featured the Prada, Giorgio Armani, Fendi, and Lanvin Spring 2013 campaigns. She has appeared in so many campaigns that it is uncountable, and the year 2013 was the busiest year for her. In this year she has appeared alongside Islen Steiro, Andrij Pejic, Tilda Swinton, and David Bowie for Bowie’s 2013 single. She is one of the stars and people give her credits a lot. In the credits, she is listed as “Celebrity 2”.

In Amsterdam she is represented by Paparrazi Model management. She is also represented by Viva Paris, Viva London, DN Model management in New York and Why not model agency in Milan. Besides that in her art she explores the relationship between the physical body and its surroundings. Her work encompasses between installation and photography as well as written verse and prose.
She has also walked for the labels such as Balenciaga. In the February 2011 she has appeared in the French Vogue and now she is the currently with the DNA models in New York. In short she is one of the busiest models in her country. She is a hard worker and do justice with all the work either it is photography or modeling anything she do fair with it.
